Federal government of Pakistan has launched the COVID-19 app for the general awareness of the people of Pakistan. The official name of the app has been revealed as “COVID-19 Gov PK” which is to save lives in Pakistan through information and knowledge, the National Information Technology Board (NITB) working under the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecom (MoiTT) has taken a valuable initiative of developing a much-needed “Corona App”.
Its aims is to decline the rampant increase of COVID-19 cases country-wide. All these features in one window can surely help the citizens to remain quarantined and untouched by the virus. This app is now available on google play store.
In dashboard screen all latest statistics of COVID-19 have been shown completely along with the distribution with provinces, federal territory, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK as shown in above figure.
Radius alert zone which identifies any COVID-19 patient near your location. If there is not any patient so it will show a message that “you are in a safe zone
There is a feature of self-assessment in the given app which ask the different question from user to know about his and after evaluation based on your given answer, it will show you that whether you have the symptom of COVID-19 or not.
It has another feature named as “Wash Hands” which guide them in a right way to wash hands.
Finally It has a feature named as “Corona ChatBot” which is providing any information related to COVID-19 to the masses.
